Pizza Night Just Got Better!

24.06.25

The Secret to Perfect Pizza? It's all in the oven.

We are so excited to add the Terrace Heater with Pizza Oven to our outdoor collection. It is multi-functional - you can cook pizza, toast marshmallows, grill sausages, or just relax around the fire with friends on those cooler summer nights. The terrace heater includes a solid fireclay pizza stone, which allows you to create excellent pizza. You can also easily cook meat and vegetables on the grill section of the terrace heater.

We have trialled and tested these ovens on multiple occasions and we recommend heating the stone for at least 30 minutes - 1 hour beforehand to ensure a well cooked pizza and a faster cooking time. Simply place the pizza directly on to the pizza stone, it will absorb the moisture in the dough, creating a perfectly crispy base.

We recommend using a pizza peel when transporting the pizza as it easily slides on and off, without disturbing the toppings or burning your hands. Simply sprinkle some flour on to the peel and the raw dough will glide easily off the peel and you won't tear the dough. A peel is also handy when you rotate the pizza during the cooking process.

Here is our favourite Pizza Dough Recipe (Neapolitan Style):

Ingredients:

3 1/3 cups flour

1 1/3 cups lukewarm water

2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp active dry yeast

1 tbsp olive oil

Method:

Dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water.

In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Then pour the yeast and water mixture into the bowl and add the oil.

Stir until a shaggy dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough into a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise at room temperature for 1-2 hours, until doubled in size.

Once risen, divide into 4 equal balls, and place them on a floured tray or in an airtight container. Cover and let rise again for 8 hours at room temperature or overnight in the fridge (up to 72 hours for better flavour).

Once risen again, bring the dough to room temperature if it's been chilled. Stretch gently by hand (don't roll), add sauce, cheese and toppings.
